The San Jose Boot Camp was established ten years ago. The purpose was originally, and remains to this day, to create a fitness program unlike any other in the nation to help young people lose weight. In addition to the weight loss program, it is designed to offer guidance and encouragement in order for each person to reach the significant goals they have established.
The program can, at times, offer huge challenges to the youngsters. One of the sayings of San Jose Boot Camp, is “we give you the very friendly kick in the rear you need”. The participants hear this frequently during their thirty days at the camp. Too, the camp is proud of the fact that the program is more successful than using a personal trainer. Parents are delighted that it is even less expensive than hiring such a trainer.
Many of the participants have lost confidence and have low self-esteem. The counselors are there to assist each participant through this stage. In doing so they offer a regimented exercise program that helps each student get back to what they need in order to succeed. The San Jose Boot Camp can also help a youngster get back in shape if they have a forthcoming event, such as a wedding. The exciting thing about this is that their work is guaranteed.
Aside from the varied work-out routines, the program also offers other assistance by training on nutrition and attitude. The goal is to instill a “menu” that each person can understand and abide by for the rest of their life. The San Jose Boot Camp counselors work to break the barriers, oftentimes mental, that stand in the way of the person and food. Using the specially designed program, the counselors work with each participant to achieve these goals and to attain a whole new healthy lifestyle.
Although the San Jose Boot Camp is known as such, to some, a boot camp insinuates a lot of pressure, a lot of yelling, and a whole lot of negativity yelled at each person. Although the concept is boot camp style, the instructors are actually much less difficult. They love to laugh. They love to have fun.
They love to see the results they help each person achieve. This is important because some of the other boot camps can make the person have even more self-negativity when they leave the camp. The instructors will challenge you but they will not yell in your face. It is the goal of each instructor to help the participants enjoy the program along with the individual results received.
The San Jose Boot Camp counselors love to watch each person shed their pounds. This is their job and it is also their goal. They realize that this group of people have suffered enough, possibly humiliated, and that some gentle guidance can go a long way for each person. So, when a person decides to go to the camp they will understand it is the goal of each instructor to help them participate and enjoy their experience.
The counselors at the San Jose boot camp classes have specific goals they work on to help each participant to succeed. They will work with the youth to instill stronger, understandable values. These self-improvement values center on obesity, self-esteem, nutrition, and exercise. The camp, established ten years ago, uses the 30 days to help the participants to shape a new direction then, at the conclusion of the exercise boot camp, head them in that positive direction.
