More About Dr.V.Stanley JonesSiddha Medicine And Dr.V.Stanley Jones Dr.V.Stanley Jones is the son of Late Vethanayagam Vaidiyar (known by the name Anakuzhi Assan) who was a Traditional Registered Siddha Medical Practitioner. He was a leading Siddha Practitioner of his time. Dr.Jones has a family history of seven generation of forefathers who were also Traditional Siddha Practitioners. In addition to himself, his three brothers are also presently practicing Siddha Medicine. Not only is Dr.Jones, one of the senior most Siddha medical officer in Kerala state, he conducted three National Siddha Conferences in Kerala in 1987, 1990 and 1997 respectively and he is a special invitee in most of the Siddha conferences, seminars and workshops which are conducted all around India. Siddha Medicine is only in a growing stage in Kerala right now. Some Government Siddha Institutions and one Siddha Medical College are functioning here. Dr.Stanley Jones can undoubtedly be called the man behind the development of Siddha Medicine in Kerala.
