He was known as Anakuzhi Assan. He was a leading Siddha Practitioner of his ages. Our seven generation of forefathers were also Traditional Siddha Practitioners. Three brothers of Dr.V.Stanley Jones are practicing Siddha Medicine right now. He is the senior most Siddha medical officer in Kerala state. Dr.Jones conducted three National Siddha Conferences in Kerala on 1987, 1990 and 1997 respectively and he is a special invitee in many Siddha conferences, seminars and workshops which are conducted all around India. Now in Kerala, Siddha Medicine is only under the growing stage. Some Government Siddha Institutions and one Siddha Medical College are functioning here.
